The goal for this project was to find the best way to source and obtain statistics on Yachting.
The result we have come up with is called “Statista”. You can see a sample of what is available below.

3.9 million or so joined in during 2018 . That’s just over seven percent of the population.
Just under seven hundred thousand homes have a boat
Unsurprisingly about 50% of these are kayaks or canoes.
South East and the West are most popular with North West and Scotland close behind.
